Chancellor Chris Thomason
Chris Thomason became chancellor of the 自拍流出 Community College at Hope on August 1, 2008. He had previously served on the UACCH Foundation Board and as an adjunct faculty member for the college. Under Thomason鈥檚 leadership, UACCH-T鈥檚 student enrollment and graduation rate hit record highs in the last two years. In addition, UACCH-T opened its first off-campus expansion in Texarkana in Fall 2012.
Thomason received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the 自拍流出 at Little Rock and a law degree from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law. He served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the Eighth Judicial District North from 1999-2002. In 2002, he was elected to his first of two terms representing District 3 in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He was elected prosecuting attorney for the Eighth Judicial District North in 2006.
Thomason serves on the Arkansas Association of Two Year Colleges Executive Committee, as a board member on the Southwest Arkansas Workforce Investment Board and as a member of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education Executive Presidents Council. In 2011, he was appointed by Governor Mike Beebe to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board and was recently appointed by the Arkansas Supreme Court to the Arkansas State Board of Law Examiners.
